AOCD Elevate LMS Frequently Asked Questions

Welcome to the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology (AOCD) eLearning Portal. Below are answers to common questions regarding account access, CME credits, refunds, and technical assistance.

Login & Account Assistance

How do I log in to the Elevate LMS?

Because our systems are integrated, you use your standard AOCD Member Account credentials to log in. Click the "Login" button in the upper-right corner of the Elevate platform. You will be redirected to the secure AOCD portal to enter your username and password, and then brought back here automatically.

I forgot my username or password. What should I do?

Since your login is managed through the main AOCD database, you will need to reset it there:

  1. Go to the main
  2. aocd.org website.
  3. Click on AOCD Member Login.
  4. Select the "Forgot Password" or "Forgot Username" link below the login fields.
  5. Enter your registered email address to receive reset instructions. Note: Password resets may take a few minutes to arrive in your inbox. Please check your spam or junk folder if you don't see it.

I am a non-member. Can I still access courses on Elevate?

No. Non-members cannot purchase nor view select educational content. If you do not have an existing AOCD account, you can create an account on the main AOCD website to generate the login credentials required to access Elevate.

Credit Policy & Information

How do I earn CME credit for a completed course?

To successfully earn credit for a course, you must complete all required modules, pass any mandatory post-tests or quizzes (if applicable), and submit the course evaluation form. Once these steps are finished, your certificate will be generated automatically.

Where can I view or download my CME certificates?

All earned certificates are stored within your Elevate profile. To view them:

  1. Ensure you are logged into the Elevate LMS.
  2. Click on My Account or Dashboard in the navigation menu.
  3. Select My Certificates or CE History to view, download, or print your documentation.

Does the AOCD automatically report my credits to the AOA?

Yes, for qualifying osteopathic medical education. The AOCD periodically reports earned Category 1-A CME credits directly to the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) on behalf of our active members. Please ensure your AOA number is updated and accurate in your main AOCD member profile.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

What is the refund policy for digital courses and webinars?

  • On-Demand Content: Due to the immediate access nature of digital media, refunds are generally not granted for on-demand webinars, recorded lectures, or digital courses once the content has been accessed or started.
  • Live Virtual Events / Webinars: Cancellation requests for live virtual events must be submitted in writing to admin@aocd.info at least 72 hours prior to the broadcast to be eligible for a refund, minus any standard administrative processing fees.

How do I request a refund if I experience a technical error during purchase?

If you were accidentally charged twice or experienced a system glitch during checkout, please contact the AOCD administrative office immediately at admin@aocd.info with your transaction details and account username. We will review the transaction and issue a correction or credit where applicable.

General Technical Support

What are the system requirements to use Elevate?

For the best user experience, we recommend using the latest versions of modern web browsers such as Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, or Apple Safari. Please ensure you have a stable, high-speed internet connection.

I am playing a video, but there is no sound, or the video keeps buffering. How do I fix this?

  1. Check your connection: Ensure your internet speeds are sufficient for video streaming.
  2. Audio Check: Check that your device volume is up and that the volume slider on the Elevate video player itself is not muted.
  3. Clear Cache: Try clearing your browser's cache and cookies, or open the course page in an Incognito/Private window.
  4. Disable VPNs: Some secure hospital networks or corporate VPNs block video streaming traffic. Try disconnecting from the VPN or switching networks if possible.

The course isn't marking as "Complete" even though I finished it. What's wrong?

This usually happens if a component was skipped. Ensure you have watched every video to the absolute end, clicked through all required interactive slides, and completely filled out and submitted the closing evaluation survey.
